Rarely get emotional on social media but I feel like this needs to be said. XXXTentacion made horrific and unforgivable decisions that cannot be justified. However his traumatic childhood, battle with mental illness and inner demons were all factors to his decisions. Since then he has evolved in his music, character and personality. He wrote songs that were meaningful and were a source of comfort for those in emotional pain. He spoke about things that mainstream artists never bothered to talk about. He dedicated a large portion of his life to helping others through his donations and music. I find it concerning that people are celebrating his death and believe that people are incapable of change. He was so young and full of talent and he touched so many with his music and mindset. His past should not be forgotten but his change should be remembered too.
would like to say I take extreme pride in all of you, my friends/fans, again if it weren’t for you all I would’ve been a part of the high percentage of street thugs caught up in the system, I finally feel like I have a purpose, I finally feel un-abandoned, I finally am a few steps away from suicide, mark my words, I will learn what I need to save you all, to make a difference in this world, all I need is for you all to continue to have my back as you do now & I will never be afraid to fall, I will save you all from mental depression & insanity, mark my words, you all will find your purpose, I love you all
